Points of Interest

Agerola is the ideal starting point for excursions into the nature and for visiting the most beautiful cities of the Amalfi Coast, such as Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and Capri. At the same time, thanks to its position, you can also easily reach the Neapolitan hinterland and explore Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples and the Vesuvius Park.

What you can see

Agerola

Located 600 m above sea level, Agerola looks like a natural balcony on the Amalfi Coast, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the coast.

In more recent years, the beauty of its trekking paths have attracted travelers from all over the world to the rediscovery of ancient paths and mule tracks that connect the town to coastal villages, hermitages in nature and hidden beaches.

Among these, the Path of the Gods is the most evocative and offers unparalleled views of Positano, the Sorrento Peninsula, the islands of li Galli and Capri.

Agerola is also famous for its typical delicacies (Provolone del Monaco, Pan Biscotto, Pera Pennata …) and its ancient and culturally rich history.

For lovers of trekking and trekking bikes

From our structure you can easily reach the “Alta Via dei Monti Lattari” path (CAI path 300) which can also be traveled by bicycle, which represents an equally exciting alternative to the more famous “Path of the Gods”. Various branches start from this path. You will be able to explore different routes, leading to striking destinations and breathtaking landscapes, such as Valle delle Ferriere, Santa Maria dei Monti, as well as the peaks of Mount Cervigliano and Mount Sant’Angelo with its “Three Pizzi”(Mount San Michele, known as “Molare” – Mount di Mezzo, known as “Canino” – Mount Catiello, known as “La Cardara”) via the “Sentiero delle Fonti,” which follows the ancient routes to the water sources that still feed the public aqueduct.

Places to visit

Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast winds its way through the southern tongue of the Sorrento peninsula.

With its inlets overlooking the sea and the houses in characteristic pastel colors clinging to the rocks, it offers a setting of great beauty, a renowned local cuisine, excellent craftsmanship and cultural sites of great importance and value.

Not to be missed

Naples and Surroundings

The Neapolitan hinterland is certainly another destination to add to your holiday.

Naples is an open-air museum that offers the opportunity to discover works of art and architectural details dating back to the most diverse eras: from the underground passages of Naples dating back to 2400 years ago, to the unmissable masterpieces of the Neapolitan Renaissance, to the ultra-modern art metro.

Herculaneum and Pompeii, on the other hand, with their world-famous excavations, are a snapshot of the Roman times and will allow you to literally stroll through history.
